Betsson appear to be very happy with the extension of the partnership, with a spokesperson commenting that the deal “massively extends the choice and excitement on offer to Betsson’s players across multiple devices, from desktop computers to tablets to smartphones.” The company will be hoping that its players are equally enthusiastic about the investment.
Betsson have also recently secured on of the new UK licenses for online gambling companies. Recent regulatory changes in the UK mean that online casinos who work with UK residents can no longer operate under other EU regulators but must also hold a UK-issued license, for which the demands which must be adhered to are quite onerous.
